Obsessed With Star Trek Books
I just received this a couple of days ago and I love it! The only thing is that I have found some questions that they have wrong answers to. So far, I'm about 300 questions into it and have found 3. First, one of the questions asked which character from the original series made a cameo in the premiere of Star Trek: The Next Generation. They have Spock as the answer. The correct answer is McCoy. He played a very old Admiral. Secondly, a question asked who Chief O'Brien married. The correct answer is Keiko. Lastly, Ambassador Nanclus in Star Trek 6 was a Romulan Ambassador. They say he was a Telerite. I hope there aren't many more mistakes. Even with these, I still love it and it will keep me busy when I am bored. I like it better than sitting on the computer for hours on end.Product details

Obsessed With Star Trek Books Reviews
My brother has always been a Star Trek fan so this was a great Christmas present for him he said. He said that he will take it when he has various appointments because it'll make the time fly by. Not sure if that was a play on words, but I know he'll enjoy it.
Cute, my son will be happy at Christmas.
It is a fun trivia book and enjoyable to play with another person. Found only one error so far, but given all of the trivia contained there in, it is does not hinder the experience. I would recommend this item for any Trek Fan.
There are too many wrong answers in the book and there is no way of correcting them. The author should have researched all the material real carefully before writing the questions and answers. Perhaps, his next trivia book won't have any obvious mistakes as this one. One question that comes to mind asks who played cap't Picard's love interest in an episode and the correct answer was supposed to be Michelle Philips and the answer in the book was Janice Joplin. Janice Joplin had been dead for about 18 years before the episode even aired. Whoever the publisher was, there as much responsible as the author.
This product is very well presented and a great concept. As noted by another reviewer, however, some of the answers are incorrect. I have found 5 so far where the answer given is most definitely incorrect. One that jumps to mind is a question about Doctor Crusher in TNG disliking the nickname "Bones". While I'm sure she probably would not have liked that nickname, she was NEVER called that name throughout the series(the correct answer of course is "The Dancing Doctor"). There are others, but to be fair, I have answered approx 2000 questions so far, so that is not a bad strike rate. I would still reccommend this to anyone who is a fan or just wants to know more, about the Trek universe.
Okay book...
It's fun, it's easy to use, and a nice quality book...
BUT be forewarned, there are actual errors in the book!!! In the voyager section I have found 3 alone.
I started there because it's my fave and have been sad to see stupid mistakes and errors. Example. Who played Q's son in "Q2" the answer should be Keegan de Lanci, John's son... But I was told by the book that it was John de Lanci.... Or another question asked about a title of Neelix's daily news report... Then gives crewmen's names for possible answers... ( so apparently according to Obsessed with Star Teek, Neelix named his morning show "joe Carey" ..... 0.o. Let's just forget that it started out as "a briefing with Neelix" before being call "good morning, Voyager."
Over all it's a fun book, but hard core Trekkies may need to keep the Star Trek encyclopedia near-by to prove you are right and the books wrong when quizzing with friends....
fabulous time killer. As others have noted, there are errors, but that makes it all the more challenging; trying to remember the right answer! Love it. great for those long car trips or while sitting waiting at the doc's office (those smug doctors cancel you if you're late, but if you're on time you have to wait for them. Prima Donna's!) I digress, whether you're a ferengi trying to peddle junk, or a Klingon looking for some action, this will keep you going. Oh wait, I'm thinking of my ebay auctions. Sorry.
